The grain-boundary diffusion of 110mAg was measured in polycrystalline α-phase samples, at 574 to 1024K, by using microtome sectioning and γ-spectrometry to analyze the diffusion profiles. The microstructure of the well-annealed material comprised a fine sub-grain network of dislocation walls. It was found that the results could be described by:
sδD (m3/s) = 6.4 x 10-13 exp[-152(kJ/mol)/RT]
