The diffusivity of 95Zr was determined at 1218 to 1518K by using serial sectioning methods. The data could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 6.8 x 10-4 exp[-34.5(kcal/mol)/RT]

It was deduced that the correlation factors were negative, and it was suggested that interstitial/vacancy pairs and ω-phase embryos might be rate-controlling.
