An ultrasonic study was made of the diffusion of Ag at 20 to 400C by using an ultrasonic technique. The diffusion was found to be described by:

D(cm2/s) = 3 x 10-4 exp[-0.53(eV)/kT]

The diffusion was found to be Fickian to a depth of 10-2cm and one diffusion mechanism was found to dominate.
