The electrochemical properties of Np, dissolved in LiCl-KCl eutectic, were investigated using cyclic voltammetry and chronopotentiometry. At 400 to 550C, the diffusion coefficients of Np3+ and Np4+ were of similar magnitude and were described by:
D(cm2/s) = 9.47 x 10-4exp[-23600/RT]
and
D(cm2/s) = 2.14 x 10-4exp[-14100/RT]
respectively.
