Using secondary ion mass spectroscopy, diffusion of Mg impurity in lithium fluoride was investigated. The temperature dependence of the diffusion coefficients at 870 to 1073K was described by:

D(cm2/s) = 2.8·x 10-3 exp[-1.5(eV)/kT]
