Cation self-diffusion studies were carried out at 1200 to 1600C, under oxygen partial pressures of 2 x 10-5 to 1atm. The isotope 85Sr was used, with Gruzin's residual activity method. The bulk diffusion coefficients for specimens annealed in argon (PO2 = 2 x 10-5atm) could be represented by.
D(cm2/s) = 2.52 x 102 exp[-4.61(eV)/kT]
at 1450 to 1600C, and by
D(cm2/s) = 4.48 x 10-4 exp[-2.76(eV)/kT]
at 1200 to 1400C.
