Diffusion of Ca in highly densified polycrystalline yttria-stabilized (10mol%) ZrO2 was investigated using secondary ion mass spectroscopy. The lattice diffusion at 1073 to 1273K was given by:
D(cm2/s) = 0.458exp[-393.3(kJ/mol)/RT]
Grain boundary diffusion was determined using Whipple's analysis. The values were given by:
dD(cm3/s) = 4.85 x 10-13 exp[-185.8(kJ/mol)/RT]
