Strontium oxide-aluminosilicate powder sources were used to introduce the diffusant, and Rutherford back-scattering spectroscopy was used to measure diffusion profiles. For 1atm experiments, Arrhenius relationships were obtained:
D(m2/s) = 2.9 x 10-9 exp[-224(kJ/mol)/RT]
at 675 to 1025C, for diffusion normal to (001).
