Chemical diffusion of Sr was measured in natural calcite under anhydrous conditions. The source of diffusants for the diffusion experiments was SrCO3 powder. Rutherford back-scattering spectroscopy was used to measure diffusion profiles. The Arrhenius relationship for 440 to 800C was:
D(m2/s) = 2.1 x 10-13 exp[-132(kJ/mol)/RT]
