Experiments were carried out in order to determine the compositional dependence of the tracer diffusion coefficient of Ca in olivine, at 900 to 1500C for the 3 principal crystallographic axes. The results were described by:

[100]: D(m2/s) = 1.65 x 10-11 exp[-193(kJ/mol)/RT

[010]: D(m2/s) = 3.47 x 10-11 exp[-201(kJ/mol)/RT

[001]: D(m2/s) = 9.55 x 10-11 exp[-207(kJ/mol)/RT]
