Mixtures of Pb sulfate and ground zircon were used as the sources of diffusant, and depth profiles were measured using Rutherford back-scattering spectrometry. At 1000 to 1500C, the Arrhenius relationship was:
D(m2/s) = 1.1 x 10-1 exp[-550(kJ/mol)/RT]
