A lattice-gas model of particle diffusion with disordered jump rates was investigated which corresponded to Gaussian distributions of the site and saddle-point energies. The tracer diffusion coefficient and the incoherent dynamic structure function were estimated by Monte Carlo simulation and their properties were analyzed. Although an improvement was achieved over the model with Gaussian site energies, the results still did not allow a proper description of H diffusion in amorphous Pd1-ySiyHx.
