A multiply-faulted dipole in this C15 Laves phase was studied. The dislocations all lay along [011] and exhibited no residual contrast when imaged edge-on; thus indicating that they were of edge type. The Burgers' vectors of the Shockley partials were ±1/6[2¯11], and those of the stair-rods were ±1/6[0¯11]. The stacking-fault energy was estimated to be 35mJ/m2. This was higher than the value of 25mJ/m2 for Cr2Nb.
