Partial dislocations in ordered and disordered material were imaged using the weak-beam method of electron microscopy. The stacking-fault energies of ordered and disordered samples, and the antiphase boundary energy on {111} planes of ordered material were determined from the measured spacings of extended dislocation configurations. It was found that the experimental value of antiphase boundary energy in fully ordered material was 39mJ/m2. The stacking-fault energy of ordered samples was 13.0mJ/m2, and that of disordered samples was 21.5mJ/m2.
