The weak-beam technique for resolving very closely spaced dislocations in an electron microscope was applied to the dissociation of B2-type superlattice dislocations in highly-ordered Fe-35at%Al. By plotting the separation of the partials as a function of orientation, a value of 105mJ/m2 was obtained for the antiphase boundary energy.
