Using transmission electron microscopy, dissociated dislocations containing stacking faults were observed in single crystals deformed in the (00•1)<11•0> slip system. Overlapping flat stacking faults lying in {11•2} planes and dissociated triple nodes in (00•1) planes were observed. The stacking-fault energy was determined to be 10mJ/m2. This low value was attributed to the segregation of impurities on dislocations.
