The deformation characteristics of a series of polycrystalline Ni-Co alloys were studied by measuring the volume flow stress, Cottrell-Stokes ratio and work-hardening rate at 4.2 to 480K. The alloys contained 0 to 70% cobalt and had stacking-fault energies ranging from 10 to 240mJ/m2. The Cottrell-Stokes ratio was obeyed approximately only at large strains.
