The diffusivity of O in liquid Sn at 1021 to 1237K was measured by using an electrochemical cell technique. It was found that the diffusion coefficient could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 9.9 x 10-4 exp[-6.3(kcal/mol)/RT]

The best linear fit to the solute diffusion data ([1179] to [1181]) yields:

O(l): Ln[Do] = 0.38E – 8.9 (R2 = 0.82)
