The diffusive behavior of O was studied at 650 to 1200C. The results could be described by:

α-phase (650-1050C):     D (cm2/s) = 4.44 x 100 exp[-51.2(kcal/mol)/RT]

β-phase (1050-1200C):     D (cm2/s) = 9.77 x 10-1 exp[-41.0(kcal/mol)/RT]

The best linear fits to the solute diffusion data ([1305] to [1309], [1313] to [1314], [1317] to [1318], [1322] to [1325], [1332] to [1334]) yield:

Cr: Ln[Do] = 0.55E – 22.7 (R2 = 0.82); H: Ln[Do] = 0.17E – 8.2 (R2 = 0.32);

Mn: Ln[Do] = 0.27E – 14 (R2 = 0.97); O: Ln[Do] = 0.29E – 14.4 (R2 = 0.37);

Zr: Ln[Do] = 0.34E – 18.9 (R2 = 0.999)
