The coordinate dependence of the ratio, 6Y/122Y, of the radiation components of 57Co in the diffusion zone of polycrystalline material was studied, where Y was the radiation intensity of the residual polycrystal. It was shown that the ratio was a parameter which was sensitive to the type of atomic probe profile. A complicated behavior of the ratio in the diffusion zone of 57Co in Au after high-temperature annealing was attributed to the predominance of differing types of profile in various parts of the diffusion zone.
