Nano-twins which were related to type-I twin intersections in the γ-phase were investigated by means of high-resolution electron microscopy. A triangular striated region could be formed around the twin intersection. Some nano-twins were observed to nucleate via interfacial dislocation reactions on the incoherent twin boundary of the triangular striated region. The nano-twins, which propagated via a twinning dislocation homogeneous glide mechanism, were mainly limited to the triangular striated region.
