The temperature dependence of the occupancies of states of 57Co atomic probes in the intercrystalline diffusion zone of polycrystalline samples was studied at 673 to 1373K by using a previously proposed method for studying local structures and physical properties of the core of crystallite-conjugation regions. It was shown that the Mössbauer spectra of 57Co in polycrystalline specimens exhibited only 2 peaks, whose position and area depended upon the isochronal annealing conditions. The Mössbauer spectrum parameters, such as the areas under the peaks and the isomer shifts of the components, were studied as functions of the isochronal annealing temperature and the Mössbauer measurement temperature.
