Experimental data on Hg vacancy equilibria in Hg1-xCdxTe, where x was 0.2 or 0.3, were determined by using Hall-effect and positron annihilation techniques. It was found that the results which were obtained were in good agreement with published data. A systematic analysis was given of changes in vacancy equilibria and conduction type for x values ranging from 0.2 to 0.4.
