Zeeman spectra of the Zn-H complex were studied for B||<100> and <111>. The excited state of the D-line exhibited a splitting which was identical to that of the D-line of group-III acceptors. The results for the ground state agreed with a model which had been developed for this defect, and which required that its axis lie along any one of the four <111> covalent bond directions of the host.
