The conductivity of the La-containing oxyapatite, Ca10-xLax(VO4)6O1+x/21-x/2, where x was between 0 and 2, was measured by using complex impedance methods at 350 to 900C (figure 3). The frequency-resolved spectra of the conductivity revealed the temperature-dependence of conduction regimes such as hopping, relaxation hopping and vibrational movements for mobile ions.
