Hot-pressed ceramic specimens were prepared, and their electrical properties were measured (table 107). It was found that Na0.68Mg0.34Ti0.66O2, which had a laminar structure of -NaFeO2 type, exhibited the highest purely ionic conductivity (0.003S/cm at 300C).
