Polycrystalline samples of LixLaxTiO3, where x ranged from 0 to 0.5 and y ranged from 0.5 to 0.7, exhibited a high room-temperature ionic conductivity (104 to 10-3S/cm) depending upon the x- and y-values. Doping with Co and Ni resulted in perovskite-like structures which could be easily prepared via solid-state reaction.
