A 7Li nuclear magnetic resonance study was made of the bronzes, V3Li0.63NaO8 and V3Li0.59NaO8, by measuring the line-widths, spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times. The self-diffusion coefficients (10-11cm2/s) were lower than the chemical diffusion coefficients, which had been measured by using electrochemical techniques. This discrepancy was explained in terms of differing contributions to the enhancement factor.
