An investigation was made, of the diffusion of H in Ni-Fe alloys, by measuring the evolution rate of the gas, to a vacuum, from specimens which were initially saturated with H. The alloys used contained a maximum of 0.01%C and a maximum of 0.005%S (tables 72 and 73). It was reported that both the short- and long-range order of Fe-Ni alloys influenced the diffusion of H.
