Data on diffusion in 3N85-purity Ni, and in alloys prepared from this Ni and 3N8-purity Fe, were reported. The results (table 123) showed that, in every case, a break in the Arrhenius plot occurred at the Curie temperature. This was explained in terms of diffusion theories, for interstitial atoms, which took account of exchange interactions.
