The room temperature (300K) H-diffusion coefficient in ß-TiFeH1.03 was found, by using nuclear magnetic resonance techniques, to be equal to 1.2 x 10-12cm2/s. This value was 4 to 5 orders of magnitude smaller than the coefficients for other hydrides. Overall, the present results for temperatures of 350 to 413 could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 4.2 x 10-7 exp[-0.33(eV)/kT]
