Tracer diffusion of 59Fe in bi-crystals with a symmetrical tilt {610} boundary was measured (tables 79 and 80) by using residual activity methods. It was found that the temperature dependence of the volume diffusion coefficients confirmed the magnetic anomaly of volume diffusion which had been reported for Fe diffusion in Fe-3.99wt%Si. The diffusion data were used to evaluate the grain boundary diffusion characteristics at temperatures of up to 1023K.
