Binary diffusion in body-centered cubic solid solutions was studied at temperatures ranging from 1350 to 1550C by using diffusion couple techniques. It was found that the interdiffusion coefficients varied linearly with composition (table 101), and exhibited Arrhenius behavior. The average activation energy was equal to 80kcal/mol, and the pre-exponential factor was 0.011cm2/s.
