Manning's diffusion kinetics formalism for a binary random alloy was combined here, with Howard's general correlation factor formalism, to give a diffusion-kinetics theory for a body-centered cubic random alloy with nearest-neighbor and next-nearest neighbor jumps. The resultant equations for the atomic component correlation factors reduced to Manning's when next-nearest neighbor jumps were omitted. Computer simulations were used to test the theory, and good agreement was found.
