The glass-forming region in the system, Li3PO4-Pb3(PO4)2-BiPO4(Li2O-PbO-Bi2O3-P2O5), was determined and the ionic conductivity of glasses belonging to this system was studied (figure 6). It was found that the ionic conductivity increased appreciably with increasing Li2O concentration (figure 7), and decreased with increasing PbO or Bi2O3 concentration.
