It was shown that the g-tensor of holes in dislocation related 1-dimensional energy bands depended markedly upon the dissociation, d, of dislocations. The variation in the g-tensor as a function of d could be related to earlier observed effects of the stacking-fault width d upon the energy of the dislocation-related photoluminescence lines, D3 and D4. The experimental results could be qualitatively explained by assuming that 1-dimensional energy bands were introduced by the deformation potential of dissociated 60ยบ dislocations.
