The stability of this phase, and the phase changes which took place in the presence of Co, were considered. Published transport parameters were analyzed with regard to defects and phase changes. A defect model was proposed which was in qualitative agreement with the observed transport parameters. It was suggested that defect ordering, due to Co2+ ions, was a critical factor governing the transport properties.
