The electromigration and diffusion of H was investigated as a function of elongation. It was found that the results could not be described by means of a single H flux in an electric-field. It was assumed that there were 2 fluxes of H in the stretched metal: migration via the interstitial mechanism, and migration via the interstitial-defect mechanism.
