High-Performance Ceramics V
Volume is indexed by Thomson Reuters CPCI-S (WoS).
This special volume presents, discusses and reviews the latest advances in the science and technology of high-performance ceramics. The editors received more than 700 contributions from which, following a strict peer-review process, more than 598 manuscripts were chosen for inclusion in this collection.
The contributions covered almost all aspects of the field including: functional ceramics, structural ceramics, processing of ceramics and the evaluation of ceramics.
The volume will therefore be of great interest to any scientist or engineer working in the field of high-performance ceramics.
Review from Ringgold Inc., ProtoView: The 598 papers of this 2-volume proceedings were first presented at the Fifth China International Conference on High-Performance Ceramics, held in May 2007, in Changsha, China. The papers, which average 3 pages in length, present current research by scientists based at universities worldwide, though the majority are in China. Each paper includes a list of keywords and an abstract as well as supporting formulae, tables, and b&w images. All 598 papers are presented without being grouped into topic, making it necessary to browse; however, an index of keywords and an author index are provided.
