Review from Ringgold Inc., ProtoView: Representing current research by the international scientific community, this 4-volume proceedings contains 495 papers by scientists from 34 countries working in magnesium, aluminum alloys, aerospace materials, and superconducting functional materials (each is the subject of a separate volume). The papers were first presented as part of the 2006 Beijing International Materials Week, held in June 2006, and sponsored by the Chinese Materials Research Society, the China Magnesium Center, and Chongqing University. Each volume is sub-divided into broad topics, often reflecting symposia held during the week-long conferences.
