Abstract:The semiconducting behavior of No.20 carbon steel coated with different polymer coating in 5% sodium hydroxide solution was studied by utilizing potential-capacitance and Mott-Schottky analysis.
Introduction It was well known that organic polymer coatings were typical insulating materials, and electrochemical and corrosion behaviour beneath the coatings have also drawn many concernings [1-4], till now, it is also a hot topic for electrochemical and corrosion studies, especially in some specific area, such as in alkaline solution [5].

Abstract: Synthesis of titanium dioxide sol was prepared by sol-gel method, using tetrabutyl titanate as source, ethanol as solvent, acetic acid as complexing agent.
In acidic solution, the concentration of H+ is large, relatively concentration of OH- is very low, the corresponding raw materials that can generate hydroxyl radicals will decrease.

It was developed by Itasca Consulting Group Inc, this program can simulate mechanics behavior of destruction or plastic flow at materials reached strength limit or yield limit, especially, on analyses gradual destruction process, instability and large deformation is adapted.
The calculation cycle of FLAC3D was shown in figue 1.The principle of FLAC is similar to the discrete element method(DEM), but it can solve the continuous problems of irregular regions with different kinds of material modes and boundaries just like FEM.

With AlCl3 and FeSO4 as the major raw material, the preparation process of a new high polymer flocculant-polymeric aluminum ferric sulfate chloride(PAFSC) was researched, to offset the polymeric aluminum and the polymerization iron flocculants’ lacks, and draw their strong points.
