The pretreatment processing have obvious influence to the anaerobic degradation, and among the three steps of anaerobic digestion: hydrolysis, acidogenic, methanogenic, generally accepted the rate-limiting step is the hydrolysis of lignocellulosic materials[3], thus the physical, chemical and biological pretreatment aiming at remove lignin and hemicellulose are often used.

The gum can be tailored for many applications based on the very large chains and functional groups which can be blended with other low- and high–molecular-weight materials to achieve new materials with various physicochemical properties.
Their growing role and application in the pharmaceutical industry is attributable not only to the fact that they are biodegradable and toxicologically harmless raw materials of low cost and relative abundance compared to their synthetic counter parts [1, 4, 5], but also because natural resources are renewable and if cultivated or harvested in a sustainable manner, they can provide a constant supply of raw material.
