Abstract: In this paper, polyaniline (PANI) fibres were prepared by electrochemical polymerization from the solutions of aniline and hydrochloric acid in the presence of different concentrations of aniline oligomer. The influences of adding a small amount of aniline oligomeric additives, such as p-aminodiphenylamine (PADPA), p-phenylenediamine (PPDA) to the electrochemical polymerization system of aniline on polyaniline fibres have been investigated. Change in fibre diameter with the concentration of aniline oligomer were investigated. Morphologies of PANI fibres were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Electrochemical behaviors of PANI fibres were studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The results show that with the addition of PADPA, PPDA to aniline polymerization system, the rate of polymerization increases greatly, and more lower potentials can be applied to generate electroactive PANI fibres with more finer and uniform structure.

Abstract: Three-dimensional electrode treating coking waste water was studied in the experiment, which is widely used in treating organic waste water. The high carbon-bearing metallized pellets was used as the third electrode of three-dimensional electrode reactor. Factors of three-dimensional electrode including residence time, voltage and air flux were studied. It was shown that all of the above mentioned factors have effect on coking wastewater. And also the optimal parameters were obtained in the experiment.

Abstract: The feasibility of coking waste water treatment by three-dimensional electrode was studied in the experiment. The reactor is comprised of a conventional two-dimensional electrode filled with high carbon-bearing metallized pellets which is also called the third electrode. The results show that there is a dramatic decrease in the content of COD, phenol and cyanide by this treatment. Also the color of coking wastewater after being treated is compared with original sample.

Abstract: Electroactive polyaniline fibres have been prepared by eletrodeposition in aniline and hydrochloric acid aqueous media. The influence of applied potential and polymerization time on the electrochemical polymerization of polyaniline fibres have been investigated. Morphology and structure of PANI were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. Electrochemical behaviors of PANI were studied by cyclic voltammetry. The results show that the applied potential and the polymerization time have a crucial influence on the polymerization rate and conductivity of the PANI prepared. It indicates that the properties, as well as the morphology of PANI, could be changed by applied potential and po-lymerization time, etc. This change might result in the quality of PANI suitable for specific applications.

Abstract: Laser shock forming of metal sheet usually effects on the surface of work-piece in normal direction by laser beam, and produces shock wave force which is vertical to the surface of work-piece. But it is difficult to shock in normal direction during processing on the surface of forming camber, so it needs to study on oblique angle laser shock processing. LD31 forging aluminum alloy sheet is shocked by Nd-glass laser in the paper, model and mode of oblique angle laser shock processing is found, and transmitting characteristics of plasma stress wave is discussed. The experiment results show that the angle between input beam and sample normal is bigger, component of forces that parallel with sample surface is bigger, the deformation eccentricity is bigger and bigger. When the angle is bigger, the area of laser beam spot becomes bigger too, energy density becomes smaller, deformation becomes shallower.

Abstract: 3A21 metal sheet was shocked by Nd-glass laser in oblique angle under the function of pulse energy 42 J, pulse width 23 ns, pulse power 1.2×109 W, the angle between input beam and normal of sample is 30°. The center of the deformation of the sheet is 3 mm away from the geometric center. Residual stresses of crossing center side in length direction and the distribution of space in the positive and negative sides are measured by XRD, which are compressive stress 100 MPa. The diagonal length of the sheet is longer than the one of the crossing center side in length direction, the force that needs to form in the diagonal direction is bigger, so compressive stress is much bigger. The capstone of the square sheet is squeezed, the procession seriously increase, so compressive stress is the biggest one.

Abstract: The large area delaminated (two layers) and non-delaminated samples of 1mm-thick aluminium alloy 2024 were shocked by pulse laser, the restricted layer and the absorbing layer were coated on the surface of the samples, and the PVDF sensors were set on the facing of a quilt of the samples. The signs of laser shock waves were transmitted to the computer by the oscillograph. The results indicated that can be effective detected by laser shock waves, and the math model of hierarchical sheet-metal by laser shock wave was fundamentally developed. A new method to detect the large area delaminated samples was provided, which has the definite engineering importance.

Abstract: A linear and high molecular weight poly(phenylene sulfide) (PPS) was synthesized from P-dichlorobenzene (P-DCB) and anhydrous sodium sulfide in N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP), and the High Temperature Gel Permeation Chromatography (HTGPC) technique was utilized to investigate the effects of reaction condition on PPS chain propagation. The experiment results indicated that the high pro-reaction temperature or high post-temperature would interfere with PPS chain propagation, and post-reaction time was another important factor to influence PPS molecular weight (Mw) extension. Furthermore, the optimized ratio of high Mw PPS polymer synthesis was typically at 3-6% molar excess of Na2S over p-dichlorobenzene, and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) were beneficial to the production of high Mw PPS due to the formation of sodium 4-(N-methylamino) butanoate (SMAB). The alkaline reagents such as Na3PO4 and K3PO4 et al could capture the H of -SH, which changed -SH into -SNa and promoted the chain growth of PPS to achieve extension.
