Abstract: Melamine (C3H6N6) consists of 66% nitrogen is an organic compound and seems to be not toxic by itself. However, it can cause fatal kidney stones as it reacts with cyanuric acid. In this paper, some methods for determination of melamine and its analogues in food and feed were reviewed after an extensive literature review.

Abstract: With the technological progress in the synthesis of multi-walled carbon nanotubes and single-walled carbon nanotubes, more attention was attracted to the synthesis of carbon nanotubes with diameter distribution, ideal length, different chirality and certain orientation. In recent decade, all these factors have been investigated and a number of progresses have been made for the application of carbon nanotubes. The latest researches on the growth of diameter-controlled single-walled carbon nanotubes are reviewed and discussed. The existing problems and challenges of the synthesis processes have been addressed in the future directions.

Abstract: the aging existing in use and construction of bituminous pavement will directly resulting in shortening of the pavement’s service life. It is provide the theoretical basis of the design and construction of the SBS modified asphalt mixture to analyze the influence of aging to the rheological property of SBS modified asphalt under high temperature. The testing for the rheological property of three kinds SBS modified asphalt under high temperature has been finished before and after the aging in construction by Brookfield DV Ⅱ+ type of rotation viscometer. The results indicated that viscosity will be increased and the sensitivity of SBS modified asphalt to viscosity will also be lowered along with increase of aging degree. The testing for the rheological property of three kinds of SBS modified asphalt has been finished before and after aging in usage period by the dynamic shear rheometer (DSR). The results shown that G* will be continually increased along with increase of aging degree and this is consistent with change of base asphalt. And this shown that the increase of G* can only come down to oxidation and aging of base asphalt contained in the modified asphalt and also, asphaltene in SBS modified asphalt will be changing in the mode same with that of base asphalt.

Abstract: The electrochemical property of molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) as anode materials for lithium ion batteries was studied using two-electrode Li-ion cell. The first reversible capacity of MoS2 treated by using ball milling and doped graphite was 617mAhg-1 and 506mAhg-1 respectively. But the reversible capacity of pristine MoS2 was 661mAhg-1. The results indicated that the processes of ball milling and doped graphite of MoS2 can not widely enhance the reversible capacity.

Abstract: Mesophase pitch (MPP) has a high carbon yield and excellent graphitizability, compared with commercial coal tar pitch (CTP), which make it suitable for the preparation of C/C composites. In this paper, two MPP were prepared by heat-treatment of two coal tar pitches (CTP and modified coal tar pitch (MCTP)) in the presence of nitrogen. Elemental analysis and FTIR were used to monitor the change of chemical structures of MPP transition from CTP and MCTP. The pyrolysis behaviors of CTP and MCTP were studied by means of thermal analysis (TG and DSC). The morphologies of MPP were inspected by optical microscope. The structures of the MPP were characterized by XRD. The results show that there are more alkyl functional groups existing in CTP and MCTP than in MPP, and MPP has a higher C/H ratio than CTP and MCTP, which indicate MPP formation predominantly polycondense aromatic and release the alkyl functional groups. An endothermic band due to volatilize light compounds around 290 °C, two exothermic peaks at 430°C and 490 °C were characteristic of polymerization reactions, exothermic peaks of MCTP are higher than that of CTP because the former has a higher reaction active for its more alkyl side chain. The optical texture of MPP from CTP is mosaics texture, while from the MCTP is flow domains texture. (002), (101) peaks of graphite occur on XRD patterns, the peaks of MPP from MCTP are higher and narrower than MPP from CTP, which indicates the former is more graphitizability than the latter.

Abstract: In this paper, polyurethane and its emulsion, with appropriate additives added, are used as binder to replace the traditional resin binder in the experiment of making water-based ink. And then the main mechanism of each component is analyzed. It is indicated that the emulsion makes the binder soak through the paint faster and infiltrate into the particles pores of pigments aggregates by reducing the tension on the surface of monomer and water. Thickener can enhance the viscosity of ink and promote the well-proportioned dispersion of pigment mainly by making the water-based ink form a network on the structure. The surface-active molecules, forming "a protective shell" on the surface of paint, effectively strengthen the affinity between the binder and pigment to make them be fully reconciled and ultimately improve the performance of water-based ink.

Abstract: The purposes of this study are to modify asphalt by retrieved waste-PE in packing (WPP) and to investigate the low temperature properties of the modified asphalt. The traditional testing methods such as low temperature ductility, low temperature penetration degree, penetration or Fraass breaking point think that PE can not improve the low temperature properties of asphalt effectively, while this study adopts a new method to test the low temperature properties of WPP modified asphalt through the freeze-to-crack test. The result indicated that, after the modification, the low temperature properties of asphalt are improved, which coincides with the fact. And the improvement of the low temperature properties can be explained by the function of Shear yield and crack pinning.
