Abstract: The paper presents the test results on the fatigue crack growth under bending, torsion and proportional bending with torsion. The tests were performed at the fatigue test stand MZGS-100 at the constant amplitude of moment MB = MT = MBT = 15.84 N⋅m and stress ratio R = -1. Specimens with rectangular cross-section in fatigue tests were used and were made of EN AW-2017A aluminium alloy. The EN AW-2017A alloy consists of α grains and the Al2Cu phase. The effect of the microstructure on the crack paths in specimens was observed. Transcrystalline cracks through grains of the α phase have been usually observed on the fractures.

Abstract: The work presents fatigue characteristics of C45 steel that have been obtained at controlled energy parameter and nominal stress. The tested material has been subjected to fully reversed bending on MZGS-100Ph fatigue test stand.

Abstract: The paper presents results of fatigue life tests conducted on transverse, circular and square cross-section specimens of C45 steel with controlled amplitude of energy parameter. The experimental results were compared with results obtained from computations on energy parameter models by R. Pawliczek, C. T. Lachowicz and on the linear-elastic model.

Abstract: The paper presents the results of tests on the fatigue crack growth rate for a constant moment amplitude under combined bending with torsion in the aluminium alloy AlCuMg1. The tests were performed under different values of the stress ratio R. Plane specimens with stress concentrators in form of the external one-sided sharp notch were tested. The results of experiments were described on graphs of the fatigue crack growth rate versus changes of the stress intensity factor range ΔK. A non-uniform fatigue cracks growth on both lateral surfaces of specimens was observed during experimental tests.

The tests were performed at the fatigue test stand MZGS-100 at the constant amplitude of moment MB = MT = MBT = 15.84 N⋅m and stress ratio R = -1. Plane specimens with stress concentrators in form of the external one-sided blunt notch were tested. The results of experiments were described on graphs of the fatigue crack length „a” versus numbers of cycles N. A non-uniform fatigue cracks growth on both lateral surfaces of specimens was observed during experimental tests.

Abstract: In this paper the results of experimental tests of the fatigue cracks propagation in Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy subjected to cyclic bending are presented. The tests were performed on plane specimens with the stress concentrators in form of one-sided sharp notches. The tested specimens were made of the Ti-6Al-4V alloy subjected to oxygenating, and hardening and ageing. In the specimens after heat treatment, crack in the core has quite a different course than in the hardened oxygenated top layers.

Abstract: The paper contains results of investigations of the crack growth in plane specimens made of Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy and AlCu4Mg1 aluminium alloy under cyclic bending. The tests were done on specimens with the stress concentrators being one-sided sharp notch. On the fractures there have been observed first of all transcrystalline cracks through the α phase grains for both materials.

Abstract: The paper contains the fatigue test results of rectangular cross-section specimens made of 10HNAP steel. The specimen height to width ratio was 1.5. Bending with torsion tests were carried out for the following ratios of bending to torsional moments MaB / MaT = 0.47, 0.94, 1.87 and the loading frequency 26.5 Hz. The tests were performed in a high cycle fatigue regime for the stress ratio R = - 1 and phase shift between bending and torsion loading equal to  = 0.
