Abstract: A new type of shape stabilized phase change material (PCM) with good heat storage was produced by intercalating myristic acid (MA) with modifid montmorillonite (MMT). The structure, thermal properties of the composite PCM were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transformation infrared (FTIR) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) analysis technique. In the XRD analysis, expansions of the d spacings in the (001) plane were observed in all samples, indicating that the intercalation of MA in the interlayers of MMT was successfully achieved. The results of DSC indicated that the shape stabilized PCM displayed a high heat capacity (133.6 J.g-1)

Abstract: A novel poly(2-acrylamido-2-methylpropa-nesulfonicacid-co-acrylamide) / attapulgite (P(AMPS-co-AM)/APT) high-salt superabsorbent composite was synthesized through graft polymerization in aqueous solution by microwave irradiation. The structure of the composite was characterized by infrared spectra (FTIR).The influence of the content of monomer, microwave power and the ratio of attapulgite clay on water absorbency was investigated. The swelling behaviors and the water retention of Superabsorbent resin with different APT content were also examined. The results show that the graft copolymerization took place between APT and organic monomers. Adding an appropriate amount of APT in resin can effectively improve the absorption capacity and salt-water performance. Microwave power is 390W, APT amount is 7.5% (mass fraction),The water absorbency of resin in distilled water and 0.9wt% NaCl were 1460g / g and 114 g / g. The resin has a faster absorption rate and strong water retention, the appropriate increase the amount of APT can significantly speed up the rate of the resin absorbent and improve its water retention.

Abstract: A new type of form-stable phase change material (PCM) with good heat storage was prepared by impregnation of stearic acid (SA) into the interlayer of modified montmorillonite (MMT). The structure, thermal properties of the composite PCM were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transformation infrared (FTIR) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) analysis technique. In the XRD analysis, expansions of the interlayer platelet spacing (001 diffraction peak) were observed in all samples, indicating that the impregnation of SA in the interlayer of MMT was successfully completed. The results of DSC indicated that the melting point and latent heat of the form-stable PCM is 63.2 °C and 118.6 J/g, respectively

Abstract: nanoPd nanoparticles were prepared using ultrasonic irradiation in the PdCl2/H2O/EtOH solution by the addition of a quantity of hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) and sodium dodecyl sulfonate (SDS) . The products were characterized by XRD、TEM and low temperature nitrogen adsorption-desorption. The effects of the composition of CTAB and SDS on the growth morphology of palladium nanoparticles were investigated. The results indicate that the size and morphology of the nanoPd particles were controllable by adjusting the ratio of CTAB and SDS. The polygonal nanoPd particles with a distributed size of 10-20 nm were obtained when the molar ratio of CTAB:SDS was 1:1 and the reaction time was 60min. The nanoparticles obtained by addition of two surfactants (CTAB and SDS) increased the BET surface area by 14 m2∙g-1 compared to that obtained without surfactant.
