Abstract: The flexible overall hoisting technique is put forward for the construction of the 30000m2 COMAC roof which is made of solder ball grid structure. It is critical to study how to properly measure the four ropes length of each lifting point. Language tools use in AUTOCAD AUTOLISP appropriate programming has been an efficient tool to correctly output the length of the rope. This method can provide some experiences to the construction and fabrication of the steel member of the project.

Abstract: Aimed at disadvantages of tedious work of the Gear Transmission design, Visual Fortran is taken as the development platform, and design data are stored and managed by self-developed program and database technology. A CAD System for Gear Transmission named GTCS is researched and developed. The system integrates designing and drawing in a body, and fully uses the powerful numerical calculation function of Visual Fortran and the function of Windows interface design, as well as the secondary development function of AutoCAD and database technology, etc. The software can realize designing and calculating of involute gear transmission mechanism, automatic drawing and various kinds of results post-processing. Results show that the research results greatly improved the efficiency and quality of the design. The result documents are easily accessible by other structural analysis software (such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, ADINA, etc) and similar design software, and convenient to use for the follow-up work.

Abstract: By using AutoLISP language based on Autocad, the development process of the tray /carton CAD system should focus on software workflow and overall development program. The system uses nodes descript by a relatively polar coordinate, parametric design, the combination of box/carton-type library with box/carton components library, splicing design methods, etc. With the program designed by AutoLISP language, paper box/carton structure parametric drawing can be achieved according to the mathematical model. The system has the input data legality verification, error handling function, output expansion plan, and automatic dimensioning features.

Abstract: The paper presents a software tool used for designing transformer in AutoCAD environment. The application allows the user to generate 2 serials of transformer easily. DSTool application has been developed using OpenDCL and VisualLISP environment and runs in the AutoCAD environment. The user can input some key parameters into the dialog provided by DSTool, more than 200 dwg files could be generated in 3 minutes.

Abstract: Two kinds of 3D modeling methods for square dome shaped pipe (SDSP) are presented in this paper, i.e. Manual modeling method by means of relative commands provided by AutoCAD and automatic modeling method by means of AutoLISP programming. The modeling steps are described in detail in the manual modeling method. Based on these, the 3D modeling application for SDSP is developed by means of AutoLISP language. The parameterized modeling of SDSP is achieved, and the drawing efficiency is increased effectively.
