Abstract: Low performance and unfairness existed in current congestion control, meanwhile network is growing rapidly. It needs a new effective congestion control to meet expanded demands and improve actual state. As a new technique framework, SoftMan is proposed with its intelligence, autonomy and initiative to bring a new idea for information system. The paper looks not only at the benefits derived from intelligence, but also at those associated with Multi-SoftMan alliance in general. After exploring these benefits, an intelligent control model of congestion control based on multi-SoftMan is proposed. At the same time, the paper visualizes the architecture and system behaviors of Multi-SoftMan intelligent congestion control system (MSMICC).

Abstract: Congestion control is a very important problem which can affect network performance directly. However, owing to the lack of steady end-to-end connection and high latency, the traditional congestion control mechanism based on end-to-end feedback is not feasible in DTN. Because obtaining the global information of network is difficult, the congestion control decisions should be made autonomously with local information only. We propose a novel distributed congestion control algorithm based on epidemic routing protocols----MACRE (Message Admission Control based on Rate Estimation). Preliminary experimental results show that this congestion control mechanism can improve the network performance efficiently.

Abstract: The low-rate denial of service attack is more applicable to the network in recent years as a means of attack, which is different from the traditional field type DoS attacks at the network end system or network using adaptive mechanisms exist loopholes flow through the low-rate periodic attacks on the implementation of high-efficiency attacked by an intruder and not be found, resulting in loss of user data or a computer deadlock. LDos attack since there has been extensive attention of researchers, the attack signature analysis and detection methods to prevent network security have become an important research topic. Some have been proposed for the current attacks were classified LDoS describe and model, and then in NS-2 platform for experimental verification, and then LDoS attack detection to prevent difficulties are discussed and summarized for the future such attacks detection method research work to provide a reference.

Abstract: Mobile devices equipped with multiple network interfaces can increase their throughput by making use of parallel transmissions over multiple paths and bandwidth aggregation, enabled by the multipath Transport Control Protocol (MPTCP). However, the existing MPTCP congestion control algorithm adopt a relatively strict definition of the fairness, although to some extent could ensure the fairness of traditional TCP connections, but the total throughput of MPTCP will be limited, which can not make full use of network resources. To solve this problem, this paper propose a congestion control algorithm (FBCC) based on the fairness of bottleneck. The core idea of FBCC is to set up individual fairness factor for each shared bottleneck. NS3 simulation results show that FBCC algorithm not only solves the problem of fairness, but also effectively improve the total throughput of MPTCP connection.

Abstract: Congestion is an essential problem in wireless sensor networks. In view of resolving the problem of congestion, a novel congestion control algorithm is proposed based on rate optimization. It performs the estimation of congestion level in the cluster and between the clusters based on the distribution of queue length of the node, and uses the maximum utility function to optimize the sending rate of source nodes. In addition, the algorithm adopts the cluster structure to prolong the system lifetime. The simulation results show that ROCC can prevent effectively and alleviate the congestion, and dynamic adjust the sending rate of source nodes while controlling congestion.

Abstract: In wireless sensor networks, congestion causes overall channel quality to degrade and loss rates to raise, leads to buffer drops and increased delays, and tends to be grossly unfair toward nodes whose data has to traverse a larger number of radio hops. Hybrid congestion control mechanisms relieve the congestion by creating the new path; when establishment of a new path is failed, fairness aggregate mechanisms limits forward rate, ensures that each source node sends data fairly. Based on energy-saving, algorithms for mild congestion have been improved.

Abstract: Studied the congestion control routing algorithm in the IONs, and proposed a novel algorithm called Novel Dynamic Weight based on Traffic Balance (N_DWTB) algorithm based on soft preemption. Simulation results show that these designs can improve the rate of resource utilization and decrease the blocking probability of the IONs.

Abstract: This paper proposed a new Ad Hoc dynamic routing algorithm, which based on ant-colony algorithm in order to reasonably extend the dynamic allocation of network traffic and network lifetime. The Algorithm choose path according transmission latency, path of the energy rate, congestion rate, dynamic rate. The Algorithm update the routing table by dynamic collection of path information after path established. The analyse shows that algorithm increases the network throughput, reduces the average end-to-end packet transmission latency, and extends the network lifetime, achieves an improving performance.

Abstract: With the rapid development of information society, the number of information data transmitting in the Internet is growing quickly, so congestion control becomes very important and it is a hot research field on the Internet now. In this paper, the sliding window, reasons and TCP algorithms of congestion control such as slow start, congestion avoidance, fast retransmit and fast recovery are discussed. Different TCP versions about congestion control are studied and analyzed. As a result, improvements on the congestion control algorithm and the research is still an important topic in the study of Internet congestion control.

Abstract: TCP is the most widely used protocol in internet which provides the reliable end to end data communications for users, and the TCP congestion control is one of the key technology that ensures the internet normal functions. However, TCP was designed on the terms of wire network at first, in which congestion was the only reason for division lost and accordingly TCP control was made. In the wireless network there are many error codes, the transfer mistakes easily make division lost and the network congestion is not the only reason for data lost any more, so if we continue to use the traditional TCP control, the transfer speed and the network function will be down. This paper offers a DS-TCP solution based on mobile algorithm that can efficiently reduce the data packet lost in the wireless network, increase the TCP throughput and network utilization and improve the TCP functions in the mobile IP wireless network.
