Abstract: Ostrava as a post-industrial city has many brownfields, black fields and industrial areas. Brownfields are one of the most important problems, which today’s cities have to solve. Regeneration of them and then reintegration back to the city organism are very time-consuming and expensive. Theme conversion of listed industrial hall buildings, the assessment made solutions, converting three historic buildings, the former power station. Looking at the history of the buildings, the technical condition before reconstruction. Using qualitative analysis used to evaluate the progress of our selected objects. Using the principles of similar objects in other post-industrial cities and their historic buildings.

Abstract: Based on the idea of sustainable development, this paper thinks that the modular architecture is a combination of architectural thinking and architectural technology with distinct characteristics of times, which can make the current green building steadily advance on the road to industrialization. This paper also describes in detail about the current situation of the development of modular architecture in China from the two aspects of the enormous social, economic benefit and the development advantage position Combined with the examples, this paper further demonstrates the importance of modular construction in our country in the field of architectural industrialization under the idea of sustainable development.

Abstract: Shenyang is located in the cold areas and main industy city in China. The most current industrial buildings can’t meet the demand of energy-saving standard because of the thermal insulation performance of the windows.This paper aims at using DeST software to analyze industrial workshop energy consumption, according to different types of external windows and window-wall ratio of buildings to provide reference for energy saving design of industrial buildings in Shenyang area.The thermal performance of the windows has great effect on the heat load. The lower the heat transfer coefficient of windows is, the more beneficial for energy saving of the buildings. The window-wall ratio has great effect on the energy consumption, and different heat-transfer coefficients possess various sensitivity for window-wall ratio, and reflective glass varis smaller than the others.It is better for energy saving to replace the conventional windows with plastic-steel reflective glass windows.

Abstract: Most industrial hall type buildings are large. The accurate design of the substructures construction is influenced by many entry parameters from the standpoint of structural analysis, building thermal technology, building hydro-insulation technology and anti-radon measures. By respecting these specific requirements of individual science disciplines, the symbiosis expressing the optimal solution in the theory of structural production of buildings are presented.

Abstract: The publication is devoted to development of neogothic architecture in Russia. The little-known facts concerning features of a shaping of architectural forms in neogothic stylistics of the XIX century are considered. The comparative analysis of domestic and foreign monuments of architecture of neogothic style is carried out. Features of development of domestic neogothic public and industrial buildings are accented.

Abstract: Today, the global environmental awareness becomes increasingly strong. To build beautiful and green energy-saving architecture turns to the construction mainstream. This paper studies several contemporary architectures, such as typical business, industrial and office buildings, and analyzes them from two aspects of efficiency and aesthetics. The design concept that energy efficiency is in the first place and aesthetic in the second place is proposed. The target is to comply with the requirements of environmental protection.

Abstract: With the development of urban economy and the transition of the traditional industrial structure, Xi’an has witnessed a large-scale demolition and abandonment of industrial buildings in urban renewal during last 30 years. The paper presented the historical background of industrial buildings of Xi’an in the First Five-year Plan Period, and analyzed the value of industrial buildings from the perspectives of historical, social, architectural and technological aspects accordingly. Therefore, it confirms the heritage values of the industrial buildings of Xi’an on the whole and presents they should be protected.

Abstract: Article proposes a comprehensive approach to the formation of the program sequence surveys of industrial buildings equipped with overhead cranes. Authors formalized synthesis algorithm that reveals the concept essence of the probabilistic method application to the study of changes in the stress-strain state of the industrial building frame during its operation taking into account the variability impacts. The calculation of the reliability and durability is based on the method of limiting states. The implementation of this method makes it possible to take into account the random nature of not only the combination of existing loads, but also the strength properties of building materials by constructing a system of safety factors.

Abstract: We simulates the thermal load of Shanxi Xinhua Printing Factory by using the software of DeST. Through choosing different parameters, it obtained that roofing materials have a great impact on the whole heat load system, wall window ratio and wall materials is very small. The result is of great significance to the construction of energy-efficient design of new plant.
