Abstract: To solve the problem of constant power control of shearer cutting machine, the nonlinear predictive control method based on Neural Network was proposed in this thesis. In the method, the cutting current was used to identify the cutting load, and the Neural Network was used to predict and control the traction speed. A Neural Network model was built by the current and speed to control the cutting power of shearer. In MATLAB, the field data was used to simulate and the simulation verify the proposed scheme is better than PID method.

Abstract: In the complex heating systems, higher order, large inertia, large delay and uncertainty typically exist. This work introduces generalized predictive PID control algorithm to adjust the system. The purpose of the control algorithm is to achieve a steady state in a shorter time. On the basis of analyzing PID control algorithm and Generalized Predictive Control (GPC), configuring a given performance function index control-weighted sequences to GPC control. Derived form of generalized predictive control algorithm with PID. The Matlab simulation shows that using generalized predictive PID control algorithm can produce better results in shorter time than simple using PID or GPC in the heating system.

Abstract: The basis of the paper is that there are already some methods to accurately evaluate, test and diagnose the performance of the model predictive controller. And the result shows the reason of a bad performance of control system is because of model mismatch. There are much more complexity and variety in the problem of multiple mismatched parameters than single mismatched parameter, so we need consider more factors about it on the basis of the solution of single mismatched parameter. We propose a way of adjusting model parameters based on fuzzy rules when there are more than one mismatched parameters. The method is to adjust the step-size of parameters and get the adjustment rules on the basis of the changes of maximum overshoot, rising time and settling time. The last, verifying the method is effective by experiments.

Abstract: According to the unsatisfied control result in a military inertial navigation platform,a control method combined with generalized predictive control and PID control is proposed,accurate control can be realized in terms of time and temperature. MATLAB simulation is given to illustrate that this method satisfies expected requirements well,and is feasible and available.

Abstract: A vehicle based on automatic route identification technology by using modulated infrared photoelectric sensors was introduced. Circuits for path detecting , motor drive, speed sensor and servo drive were designed. And the controlling strategy was introduced. At last, the assembled model car could run along the black line stably and fast.

Abstract: In order to obtain accurate prediction model and avoid solving nonlinear programming problem, a direct adaptive predictive control (DAPC) method is proposed. Firstly, a nonlinear system was described based on Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models. Assuming that that the antecedent parameters of T-S models were kept, the consequent parameters were identified on-line by using the weighted recursive least square (WRLS) method. Secondly, the identified parameters of fuzzy model were used to directly receive the model predicted output with direct iterative for the T-S model. Finally, the application results for continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) process show that the proposed algorithm is an effective control strategy with excellent tracing ability. The proposed algorithm is a good way to resolve the two major problems, modeling and optimization, and provides a guarantee for high-precision control of nonlinear systems.

Abstract: The paper deals with the problem of controlling the outlet temperature of a tubular heat exchanger system by means of flow pressure. The usual industrial system behavior must precisely be modeled and appropriate control action needs to be obtained based on novel techniques. A new multiple models control strategy using the well-known linear generalized predictive control (LGPC) scheme has been proposed in this paper. Then the best model of the system is accurately identified by an intelligent decision mechanism (IDM) which is organized based on both new recursive weight generator and fuzzy adaptive Kalman filter approaches. Simulations are all done and the results are also compared with those obtained using a nonlinear GPC (NLGPC) approach that is realized based on the Wiener model of the system. The results can verify the validity of the proposed control scheme.

Abstract: Chain type coal-fired hot blast furnace boiler has a strong coupling, large delay, large inertia characteristics. Control effect of control method of mathematic modeling method and the classical routine of it is very difficult to produce the ideal. The predictive control theory combined with neural network theory. Through the model correction and rolling optimization control method of the system is good to overcome the effects of model error and time-varying process. The experimental results showed that neural network predictive control system is improved effectively the static precision and dynamic characteristic. It has better practicability of boiler temperature of this kind of large time delay system.
